Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Crate Builder to join our manufacturing and shipping team in Dahlonega, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience with carpentry, woodworking, and power tools to build custom-sized crates used for shipping materials across the country. This position requires strong attention to detail, accurate measuring skills, and the ability to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construct custom-sized crates based on client specifications and shipping requirements.
• Use power tools including saws, drills, and nail guns to assemble crates.
• Measure materials accurately and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
• Plan and organize materials to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Inspect finished crates to ensure quality, accuracy, and durability.
• Make adjustments or repairs as needed to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating tools and handling materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Work with team members and supervisors to complete orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in crate building, carpentry, woodworking, or a similar manufacturing role is preferred
• Experience using power tools and woodworking equipment.
• Strong understanding of measurements, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or workshop environment with exposure to noise and dust.
