Custodian

Westfield Electroplating Company is currently seeking a Custodian. This individual must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and must be extremely detail-oriented.

Main Objective: The main goal for this position is to provide a clean and sanitary working environment for employees and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs the following duties daily:

• Trash and cardboard removal
• Clean all restrooms
• Restock paper supplies and soap as needed
• Clean breakroom by wiping all tables, counters, refrigerators, and mopping floors
• Maintaining all floors (Vacuuming, Washing, and Waxing)
• Spot clean all glass doorways
• Prepare breakroom for break-time (Coffee and Donuts)
• Manage the secure shred bins

Perform these maintenance items and any additional, as needed. 

Education and Experience: Previous Custodial experience preferred Experience cleaning offices and manufacturing environments High School Diploma.

Good communication skills and positive attitude 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: Vacuum, Industrial Floor Buffer, and supplies 

Pay Rate and Benefits: Based on experience 

Health Insurance: Single $10.50 / week Family $25.20 / week Copayment $25.00 

Dental Insurance: Single $4.22 / week Family $12.00 / week
