Job Title: Custodian Department: Facility Operations & Maintenance
Job Summary: The custodian will be responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the facility. This includes traditional janitorial tasks like mopping and dusting but also requires an understanding of proper handling and disposal of biological waste. Environmental services technicians often work in shifts around the clock in facilities that are always open.

Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, infectious waste, floor, and carpet care including knowledge of aseptic procedures, detergent/germicide solution and proper use and cleaning of equipment, proper use of safety standards and procedures
