ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY

POSITION:

Custodian

• Afternoon Shift
• 2 Positions

And any positions that result from the filling of this posting

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Able to perform duties assigned to the position
• Able to pass standard employee's physical, drug screen and background check
• Evidence of successful custodial experience in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting
• Able to be on feet for 6 to 8 hours a day
• Excellent attendance and punctuality

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

DUTIES:

• Follow the assigned cleaning schedule
• Operate custodial equipment and the proper maintenance of that equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Report to the Engineer any item that needs to be repaired or replaced in assigned area
• Responsible for light replacement in assigned area
• Other duties as assigned by the Engineer or Building Administrator

RESPONSIBLE TO:Building Principal & Director of Buildings & GroundsWORK SCHEDULE:

Forty (40) hours per week, Fifty-two (52) weeks per year

According to the Custodial Maintenance Schedule

SALARY:According to AFSCME, Local 849 Master Agreement
