Requirements / Qualifications

Complete and submit online EdJoin application with required attachments: 1. Resume 2. Two Current Letter of Recommendations (must be signed and dated within 12 months of this posting) 3. Cover Letter addressed to Maria Ashton, Principal of Smith Elementary 4. Copy of Current CPR/First Aid card is required. It is your responsibility to scan all required documents. We do not accept e-mailed, mailed or faxed documents. If you need assistance, call the EdJoin Customer Help Desk at 888-900-8945.

All applicants, including substitute employees of HBCSD, must submit an EdJoin application and required attachments via EdJoin by the posted deadline. Candidates will be paper screened, tested, and interviewed prior to selection. Only those applicants who pass paper screening will be contacted by Human Resources and invited to the testing. Testing is tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
