Custodian I, Rotating - Full-Time

The School District of Jefferson is looking for a detail oriented and self-motivated individual to be part of the Custodial team at Jefferson High School. The Custodian I shall provide a safe, clean, attractive, comfortable, and efficient place to learn, play, work, develop, and teach.

Locations and hours:

Jefferson High School

3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, M-F with rotating weekends

• All hours may be adjusted for summer months.

Salary:

$17.55/hr + $2.20/hr shift differential for 2nd shift hours for a total of $19.75/hr.

In addition, the Custodian I may be responsible for:

1. Sanitizing restrooms, showers, and locker rooms.

2. Sweeping, dusting, and mopping classrooms, gymnasiums, and custodial service areas.

3. Scrubbing, mopping, and finishing floors.

4. Vacuuming and shampooing rugs and carpeting.

5. Polishing and dusting fixtures and furniture.

6. Securing building.

7. Setting up and taking down for building activities.

8. Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the Building Principal, Building Associate Principal, or the Maintenance Director.
