NOW HIRING – Custodian | Manufacturing Facility
A local manufacturing facility is currently looking for a dependable Custodian to join their team.
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
? Pay: Same pay rate as the facility’s production positions
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep the manufacturing plant clean and organized
- Clean and maintain bathrooms and break rooms
- Clean around production machines
- Wipe down equipment and help keep production areas clean
- Sweep, mop, and remove trash as needed
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility
- Occasionally clean in tower areas
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must be comfortable working around production machinery
PPE Requirements:
While working on the production floor, standard PPE is required, including:
- Hair net
- Beard net, when applicable
- Hearing protection/ear plugs
Although the position is primarily focused on general cleaning, there may be times when cleaning is needed in elevated tower areas, so candidates must be comfortable working at heights.
