Responsibilities:- Perform routine floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and stripping hard surface floors
- Operate commercial floor machines, auto scrubbers, and burnishers safely and effectively
- Clean and maintain carpeted areas through vacuuming and spot treatment
- Conduct general custodial duties including restroom sanitation, trash removal, and surface disinfecting
- Monitor and restock janitorial supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Requirements:- Prior experience in custodial, janitorial, or floor care maintenance preferred
- Hands-on experience operating commercial floor buffers, scrubbers, and burnishing equipment
- Knowledge of floor stripping, waxing, and refinishing techniques
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed
