Title: Custodian
Duration: 9+ Months
Location: Chattanooga, TN 37405
Hours: Friday and Saturday (4 pm to 12 am)
                                
Position summary:
This is a custodial/cleaning position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of buildings and surrounding areas. The role involves using cleaning equipment, performing floor care, cleaning restrooms and offices, removing trash, and completing basic equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vacuums, floor machines, buffers, and other custodial equipment.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, walls, and floors.
• Clean offices, facilities, cabins, and other assigned areas.
• Dust furniture and vacuum/shampoo carpets.
• Wash windows and walls and empty trash.

• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Basic ability to maintain records and report facility issues.
• Custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is preferred, but may not be mandatory depending on the employer.
