    Description

    AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Custodian, CCALead (Cleared Access Area) to join the team in Caracas, Venezuela. The Custodian, CAA Lead (Cleared Access Area) will be based at the Caracas Embassy Compound in Caracas, Venezuela and serve the Venezuela Base Life Support (VBLS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for performing custodial/escort duties and will report to the Site Services Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive:

    • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
    • Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
    • Lead a team of custodians in their performance of custodial/escorting duties.
    • Take ownership of and oversee all CAA facility Custodian related projects.
    • Ensure that work schedules/calendars are up to date and all areas are cleaned as required in the Statement of Work (SOW).Ensure all cleaning supplies are identified, ordered, and stocked as needed.
    • Perform custodial services in the Embassy CAA office areas to include conference rooms, special purpose (data processing and communication) areas, restrooms, lobbies, corridors, and stairways.
    • Clean CAA office, corridors, restrooms, stairwells, floors, walls, and windows.
    • Clean inside/outside windows using aerial lift.
    • Shampoo carpets and spot replace as necessary.
    • Perform dusting, sweeping, washing, vacuuming, replacing lights, and cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and floor polishers.
    • Strip, wax, polish, and seal stone/marble floors.
    • Escort non-cleared employees into classified areas and monitor them while they perform maintenance duties.
    • Respond to emergencies and react to unforeseen circumstances.
    • Perform administrative tasks when directed, including material ordering, inventory, work scheduling, and report preparation.
    • Participate in setup and breakdown of events containing podiums, stages, stands, holiday decorations, and the like.
    • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
    • Report any lack of compliance with Statement of Work (SOW) to the VBLS Manager.

    Experience & Skills:

    • One (1) year successful experience leading/supervising custodial staff performing duties in a residential facility
    • Custodial cleaning, floor cleaning, carpet shampooing, window cleaning, waste removal, minor maintenance tasks, buffer/burnisher/autoscrubber equipment, escorting uncleared personnel.
    • The candidate must be at least 18 years old.
    • Must understand and communicate in English
    • Must be able to follow OSHA/NEBOSH safety standards while on site.
    • Must participate in daily safety briefings and Task Hazard Analyses (THAs).
    • Must be able to work overtime.
    • Must meet all PPE compliance requirements and wear proper PPE at all times.

    Required Certifications:

    • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Covishield, or AstraZeneca vaccines and provide documentation before mobilization.
    • Must pass initial and annual medical examinations required, including HIV screening, Syphilis, Hepatitis A & B screening, chest X-ray, full blood work, CBC, general exam, medical history, vital signs, audiometry, and vision assessments.

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
    • Must meet all DOS vetting requirements for compound access.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Valid passport with willingness and ability to travel overseas to remote or austere locations.
    • Ability to work in challenging environments, including high-threat areas and adverse weather conditions.
    • Ability to traverse uneven or rough terrain, climb steps or ladders, and access secure or military facilities as required.
    • Ability to lift and carry equipment or supplies weighing of approximately 40 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and reach continuously.
    • Ability to perform repetitive motions (sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming).
    • Ability to climb ladders and work at moderate heights.
    • Ability to operate effectively under potential danger, elevated stress, physical hardships, and field living conditions.
    • Willingness to acknowledge in writing the danger, stress, physical hardships, and field conditions associated with government-supported deployment.
    • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
    • Ability to work in tight, constrained, or awkward spaces when accessing or repairing equipment.
    • Must wear safety boots and PPE at all times, including eye, face, hand, hearing, and fall-protection PPE as required.
