    Purpose of the Position:

    The Custodian is a key member of the UAH Facilities & Operations department, which is responsible for the planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of the University. As a Custodian, the employee's primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the University's buildings. The employee’s duties will be performed full-time within the second shift hours (2:00 PM - 10:45 PM). This position is eligible for a shift differential rate of $1.50 an hour.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High school education or equivalent.
    • It is essential that the employee be physically able and capable of operating all equipment.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Prior janitorial experience is desired.

    Published Salary (if available):

    $31,200 - $34,320
