GENERAL INFORMATION:
Full-time, Permanent General maintenance /Floor care/Grounds /Athletic Fields
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision from Chief custodian. Experience with floor care/grounds work /field painting.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
Desire to work cooperatively with teachers, children, school custodians, and other employees.
Demonstrate aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned responsibilities. Willingness to work flexible hours.
The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school building and all athletic fields. Duties include general grounds maintenance (grass cutting, Bermuda and Turf field care, tennis court maintenance, weeding, field lining, and equipment upkeep) and ensuring a sanitary, orderly environment for students and staff.
