Wilmot Union High School is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Custodian to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. This position reports to the Director of Building and Grounds and works under the direction of the Custodial Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned areas of the school on a daily basis.
- Sweep, dust, vacuum, wet mop, and dry mop floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, showers, and other high-touch areas.
- Clean windows, glass, furniture, and upholstery.
- Empty trash and recycling containers.
- Clean food and beverage spills and maintain common areas.
- Strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of school buildings and grounds.
- Perform light maintenance and minor repairs as assigned.
- Set up and tear down rooms for school events and activities.
- Assist with after-school events and work overtime when necessary.
- Follow all district safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
- Serve as a positive role model for students by demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and respect.
- Perform other custodial and operational duties as assigned.
