Essential Functions:

 

Responsibilities:
To serve as the main point of contact for Goodwill Industries at the worksite. To be knowledgeableofthestatementofworkandensurethatallworkisperformedtocontract specifications. To maintain equipment, supplies, personnel information, and time sheets.

 

1.     Toensurethat at least onemember ofthemanagement teamis on duty during work time.

2.     Toorientandtrainnewortransferredcustodialworkers.

3.     Tosupervise,disciplineandrecommenddischargecustodialworkers.

4.     Toschedulecustodialemployeeswithfocusoncontrollingpayrollcostsandadequate coverage of complicit operation for proper customer service and quality.

5.     Tosuperviseandmotivatecustodialemployeestoreachproductionguidelinesandtobe capable of producing as well.

6.     Toconductperiodicinspectionsofsubordinates’workperformance.

7.     Topreparepersonnelandpayrollrecords inatimely manner.

8.     Tocompleteaccuratelyotherpaperworkrequiredintheday-to-dayoperationofthe contract.

9.     Toinventoryandrequestsuppliesensuringthatreordersareplacedbeforestockis depleted.

10.  Toinspectcontractequipmentonaregularscheduleandmaintainanequipment inspection log.

11.  Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandcustomersinallaspectsofprofessional performance.

12.  Toaddressallcustomer complaintspromptlyand satisfactorily.

13.  TonotifyProjectManagerofallcustomercomplaintsandotherissuesthatmayariseat the worksite.

14.  Toobservepersonnel policiesand safety procedures.

15.  Toensurecompliancebysubordinates.

16.  Toensurethedailysafety meetingisconductedand documented.

17.  Toholdanemployees'meetingmonthlyanddocumentmeetingdiscussions.Meetings must include safety. 

18.  Toensurehourlyfloorchecksareconductedanddocumented.

19.  Toattend,asscheduled,isrequired.

20.  To possess and maintain a valid driver's license and to be insurable by theCompany's automotive insurance carrier. Must obey all traffic/safety laws.

21.  Toperformalldutiesasrequiredpercontract/Goodwillmanagement.

22.  Toperformadditionaldutiesasassigned.

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

1.      Mustbeabletointeractcordiallyandproductivelywithavarietyofpeople.

2.      Mustbeabletomarket Goodwillandexplainthemissiontothepublic.

3.      Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,contract personnel.

4.      Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.

5.      Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleonshortnotice,includingnightsandweekends, and occasionally, long, or extended hours.

6.      Mustbeable toliftand carryobjects upto10 #'sfrequentlyand 50#'s occasionally.

7.      Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending,stooping, and stretching and climbing stairs.

8.      Mustbeabletofunctioninahecticworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsofhigh stress.

 Requirements:

1.     Fiveyearsofexperienceinthecustodialfieldwithtwoyearsofsupervisoryexperience required.

2.     Mustwearcompanyissueduniforms.

3.     Mustbeable topassbackground checkanddrugscreening.

 WorkingConditions:

Frequentphysicalexertion,exposuretocleaningchemicals,fumesfrombuffingmachinesand potentially infectious materials.
