Job Specifications
The City is seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodial Worker II to perform custodial, housekeeping, and general maintenance duties in City buildings and associated areas.
This position is responsible for helping maintain clean, safe, and well-kept facilities. The work involves a variety of routine cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks and requires someone who can work independently, follow instructions, and take pride in completing work properly.

The Custodial Worker II performs routine facility maintenance and minor repairs to help keep City buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas clean, safe, functional, and well maintained.

This is an active position that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The work may involve moving furniture, equipment, trash containers, cleaning supplies, and other heavy objects. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, dirt, noise, heat, cold, and other environmental conditions.
This position is an opportunity to do meaningful, hands-on work that helps keep City facilities clean, safe, and ready for everyday use. The Custodial Worker II is an important part of the team and plays a direct role in maintaining the spaces used by City employees and the community.

Minimum Training & Experience

Salary Range
$12.9241 to $35.0705/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $18.4335/hour.
Drivers License Requirements
Must possess a valid Class-E State drivers license at the time of appointment.
