We are seeking a dependable Custodial Worker to maintain clean, safe, and well-organized facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for routine cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and basic maintenance of custodial equipment.
Job Title: Custodial Worker
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Shift: Overnight / 3rd Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate custodial equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and other cleaning machines.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors by hand or using power equipment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, floors, and walls.
- Clean offices, healthcare facilities, inns, cabins, and other assigned areas.
- Dust and clean furniture, vacuum and shampoo carpets, wash windows and walls, and maintain orderly work areas.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure assigned areas remain clean and presentable.
- Move furniture and other objects as needed to complete cleaning duties.
- Walk assigned grounds and facilities to pick up litter and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain simple records and report facility deficiencies, supply needs, or maintenance concerns.
- Perform basic/light maintenance and routine care of custodial tools and equipment.
- Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures at all times.
- Perform other related custodial duties as assigned.
