Job Summary

We are seeking a Custodial Supervisor to support Environmental Services (EVS) operations in a hospital setting. This role is responsible for supervising custodial staff, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supporting daily operations during the second shift.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team in a healthcare environment. This position may also require hands-on cleaning and sanitation duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial and environmental services staff
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Support employee performance management and accountability
• Maintain strong relationships with staff and hospital stakeholders
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation tasks when necessary
• Ensure compliance with hospital cleanliness and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, and crouch for extended periods
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Prior experience in hospital or healthcare environmental services (EVS)
