Hotel Custodian Position Overview: Assistant Custodial Manager Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center – Lake George, NY Compensation: Starting at $22.00 per hour Job Description Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a reliable and hardworking Assistant Custodial Manager to assist with daily custodial operations and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel, public areas, conference facilities, and banquet spaces. This is a hands-on position that includes cleaning duties, assisting with staff supervision, and overseeing operations during the Custodial Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities Assist with supervising custodial staff and assigning daily cleaning tasks. Provide supervisory coverage during the Custodial Manager's days off. Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, restrooms, conference rooms, banquet spaces, and back-of-house areas. Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Train and assist employees with proper cleaning procedures and equipment use. Assist with cleaning and preparing banquet and event spaces. Monitor cleaning supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Report maintenance issues and safety concerns. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures. Perform additional custodial and supervisory duties as assigned.
