    About the Opportunity

    Our client, a U.S. Federal Law Enforcement agency, is seeking experienced CUAS Operators / Technicians to support protective events nationwide and internationally. The position will operate and maintain government-furnished Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) used to detect, track, and mitigate unauthorized drone activity at protective sites.

    When not supporting active missions, personnel will be based at our client's NCR facility for equipment maintenance, servicing, storage, testing, and training.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deploy, set up, operate, test, and maintain government-furnished CUAS equipment at protective sites.

    • Conduct real-time drone detection, tracking, monitoring, and mitigation operations.

    • Perform RF spectrum analysis and RF deconfliction to minimize interference with mission-critical communications.

    • Monitor system health and troubleshoot equipment, network, and integration issues during missions.

    • Integrate CUAS systems and data feeds with secure command-and-control platforms, including VIDTERRA and TAK.

    • Conduct pre-event interoperability testing with client IT personnel, including connectivity and video distribution testing.

    • Support secure communications, encrypted data transmission, authentication, and access controls.

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain equipment in a constant state of readiness.

    • Manage spare parts, repairs, equipment logistics, and secure storage.

    • Maintain maintenance records, incident logs, system documentation, troubleshooting guides, and after-action reports.

    • Participate in protective advance meetings, pre-event briefings, and post-event debriefings.

    • Provide on-site or remote technical support during protection missions.

    • Work extended, overnight, weekend, holiday, and 24/7 operational schedules as required.

    • Travel approximately 80% for domestic and international protection events.

    • When not deployed, support equipment maintenance and training activities at the NCR facility.

    • Follow all client security procedures, information-handling requirements, and federal IT/cybersecurity standards.

    Required Qualifications

    • U.S. citizenship.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance; our client will sponsor investigations for qualified candidates.

    • Experience with CUAS, RF systems, electronic systems, RF spectrum analysis, and/or RF deconfliction.

    • Experience deploying, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic, RF, or CUAS systems in field or operational environments.

    • Experience with secure network connectivity, encrypted communications, and command-and-control system integration.

    • Ability to successfully complete client-provided CUAS operator training.

    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 80% of the time.

    • Ability to support variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and 24/7 operations.

    • Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and independent decision-making skills.

    • Ability to stand for extended periods, work in adverse weather, climb ladders and rooftops, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Active Top Secret clearance.

    • Electronics technician or formal technical training.

    • Military or federal experience in CUAS, SIGINT, Electronic Warfare (EW), RF, or communications systems.

    • Experience with VIDTERRA, TAK, or similar secure C2/data-distribution platforms.

    • Manufacturer or platform-specific CUAS certifications.

    • Experience supporting DHS, federal protective services, or National Special Security Event (NSSE) operations.

    Training & Equipment

    Our client will provide the required Basic Operator Course at no cost. All CUAS equipment and systems will be Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE).

    Work Environment

    This is a highly operational, mission-focused position requiring significant travel and flexibility. Personnel must be prepared to operate in demanding field environments and provide continuous CUAS support during high-profile federal protection missions.

    Candidates must be prepared for approximately 80% travel and potential 24/7 operational coverage.
