A leading investment-focused organization is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support and enhance business-critical applications that power investment operations, portfolio workflows, and enterprise transaction processing platforms.

This role is highly hands-on and ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys partnering with business stakeholders, building scalable applications, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to the modernization of enterprise technology platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technology teams, and operational stakeholders to design, develop, and support applications that are central to day-to-day business operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications supporting core business workflows.
  • Build and enhance solutions using modern application development frameworks and relational databases.
  • Partner with business users and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution of application problems.
  • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to software development best practices including code quality, testing, and deployment standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Support modernization initiatives involving distributed systems, cloud technologies, and service-based architectures.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience developing enterprise applications using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Deep knowledge of relational databases and application performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and service-oriented development.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience supporting transaction-intensive or operationally critical platforms.
  • Experience with cloud services and modern deployment practices.
  • Exposure to microservices architectures and distributed systems.

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures or real-time data processing technologies.
