Job Description
The CTM - CTE Curriculum & IBCs leads the implementation of program of study strategy by managing a team of cluster leads and supporting campus leadership to execute high-quality, workforce-aligned CTE programs. This role works closely with principals, counselors, and central teams to ensure strong program design, scheduling, and student outcomes. Relevant activities include overseeing program of study implementation, driving IBC attainment, ensuring curriculum alignment and execution, delivering professional development, and developing their team to meet district CCMR goals.
EDUCATION
Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field (depending on the specific requirements of the cross-functional team).
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3 Years Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects.
TYPE OF SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse functional backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear and concise information sharing. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.
BUDGET AUTHORITY
No budget development activity is required.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Decisions are made with greater freedom and discretion, including recommendations that are subject to approval on matters that may affect multiple departments across HISD. Job is frequently expected to recommend new solutions to problems, to improve existing methods/procedures/services and generate new ideas. May also review decisions made by other individuals on more routine matters.

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements. Ability to carry and/or Lift less than 15 pounds.

Partner strategically with their team and campus leaders and teachers to strengthen master scheduling, instructional implementation, and student outcomes across college and career readiness indicators.
Lead professional development planning and execution for cluster leads, aligned to SPOT and instructional priorities.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
