    What you will be doing

    • Responsible for tracking, organizing, and maintaining inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient operations to ensure operations have the necessary chemicals and supplies to minimize downtime or increased scrap.
    • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records
    • Organize and store inventory according to company standards
    • Perform weekly inventory counts of chemicals and consumables
    • Execute specific financial inventories as defines. End of month chemical inventories for Finance
    • Work with Logistics to update chemical inventories in SAP
    • Update the chemical ordering and pricing with correct inventories and the 6-month forecast
    • Oder chemicals based on usage, current inventor levels, and 6 month forecast to ensure the Value-Added department does not run out of supplies needed to run the business
    • Knowledge of chemical hazards, waste management procedures, and implementation of emergency response procedures.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
    • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
    • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
    • Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
    • Assist other positions within the Value-Added department
