CTI Documentation Manager

The documentation manager leads a team of technical writers and documentation controllers responsible for customer project documentation. This role leads documentation efforts, requiring expertise in technical communication and management. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication, leadership, and analytical skills, along with a strong technical understanding and a dedication to producing high-quality documentation. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,400 - $125,500 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Leadership: Lead documentation efforts, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and complete technical documentation.
• Best Practices & Standards: Implement documentation best practices and enforce standards, styles, and templates.
• Team Leadership: Offer direction and encourage team members.
• Effective Communication: Effectively present ideas to internal leaders, collaborators, and external customers.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Identify, develop, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for documentation activities.
• Time Management: Manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks for the technical writing staff.
• Training & Guidance: Train and guide others in using authoring software.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, emphasizing technical communications and/or management.
• Communication: Exceptionally strong English communication and writing skills.
• Data Analysis: Ability to identify, develop, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Technical Competence: Strong determination to produce clear, accurate, and complete technical documentation.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient with authoring software (e.g., MS Office, Adobe products, Component Content Management Systems [CCMS]).
• Standards & Guidelines: Ability to set and enforce documentation standards, styles, and templates.
