    Description

    Commercial HVAC Technician

    Comfort Temp — Orlando, FL

Orlando's skyline never gets a day off. Neither do we.

We need a Commercial HVAC Technician who can braze copper, charge refrigerant, and read a wiring diagram in their sleep — and we need you on a truck this week, not next month.

No fluff. No corporate speak. Just real work, real pay, and a crew that has your back.

    Who We Are

Comfort Temp has kept Florida cool since 1985 — Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa. We run commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting for buildings that can't afford downtime. Which means we can't afford average techs.

Four rules. No apologies for any of them:

    • Do what you say.
    • Do what it takes.
    • Walk with purpose.
    • Do the right thing.

Show up, work hard, tell the truth — you'll fit right in.

    The Job

Big buildings. Big systems. Big problems that need someone who actually knows what they're doing. You'll service and install commercial HVAC equipment across Orlando — the kind of work that separates a real technician from a guy who just swaps filters.

    What You'll Do

    • Service and install commercial HVAC equipment
    • Run control wiring and start-ups like you've done it a thousand times — because you have
    • Inspect and dial in new equipment so it's right the first time, every time
    • Reclaim, recover, and charge refrigerant the right way
    • Solder and braze copper piping; run PVC for condensation lines
    • Keep your truck stocked and squared away — no digging through chaos to find your gear
    • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and actually fix them, not just flag them

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years turning wrenches on commercial refrigeration and HVAC — or equivalent training that proves it
    • EPA certification (required — no exceptions)
    • All required permits/licenses for HVAC and refrigeration work
    • An eye for detail sharp enough to catch a problem before it becomes a callback
    • Straight-shooter communication — with your crew and your customers
    • A strong back — 50 lbs, tight spaces, hot spaces, no complaints
    • Fluency in electrical and mechanical plans and wiring diagrams — no translator needed
    • Willingness for some extended-day travel — comfort zones are overrated
