SALARY: $35.15 - $42.79

REPORTS TO: CTHCA HR Director

LOCATION: Reservation Wide

SUMMARY:The Workforce Development Coordinator is a grant funded position. The incumbent develops and coordinates strategies and programs to build sustainable pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future Colville Tribal Health Care Authority (CTHCA) positions. This position establishes partnerships with educational institutions, apprenticeship and training programs, professional organizations, and community resources to create pathways into healthcare careers and employment with CTHCA. The position also coordinates succession planning, paid training, internships, apprenticeships, mentorships, and other workforce development opportunities designed to grow and strengthen CTHCA's workforce. This position requires an outgoing, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can build effective relationships, remain focused and on track while managing multiple priorities, and consistently communicate with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Workforce Development, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible related experience, as determined by CTHCA, may be considered.
  • Three (3) years of experience in workforce development, education, training, human resources, recruiting, career services, program coordination, community development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing partnerships, coordinating programs, or conducting professional or community outreach.
  • Demonstrated experience developing professional written materials such as policies, procedures, program documentation, reports, agreements, or similar documents.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the Colville Indian Reservation and, as required, out of town and out of state.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and outside regular business hours as required.

Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment
