BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of a Director or Principal, instruct students in a classroom, individually and in small groups in accordance with Shasta County Office of Education policies and procedures; plan, implement, and evaluate learning programs and activities in assigned teaching areas; develop and implement IEP goals and assess student progress and achievement; coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically.

Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor s degree and additional certification related to students served.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California Teaching Credential including knowledge of educational, instructional and behavioral trends related to students identified at risk or background in working with at risk students.

Ability to obtain a minimum of (3) three years of verifiable work experience in the field of Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent. * One year of verifiable work experience in Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent with the completion of a minimum of 48 semester units of postsecondary vocational training related to the field Building and Construction Trades or Equivalent.
