Job Summary
CRY-ROP is seeking a Nurse Assistant-Certified Teacher. Content focusing on:

- Metrics
- Body Mechanics
- Observation and Communication skills with emphasis on caring for the geriatric patient.
The Nurse Assistant-Certified teacher must meet the requirements of the CDPH and be approved as an instructor after hiring.
Qualifications
- Resume showing work experience. Include month/year to month/year of work experience, name and address of employer, contact telephone number for Human Resources or administration to validate the work experience.
- Active RN or LVN license in California
- 2 years of nursing experience as an RN or LVN
- One of the two years must be as a licensed nursing providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting.
- AND one of the following:
- One year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing.
- OR Twenty-four (24) hours of continuing education in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing (submit course certificate or transcript completed within six (6) months of employment and prior to teaching a certification program). Courses must be approved by the Board of Registered Nursing or administered by an accredited educational institution.
The successful candidate will have experience of not less than three (3) years in the field and/or education and experience combined that meets the criteria. We will assist with the credential process; the cost of which is approximately $265.
