Reports to: Principal
Purpose: Plan, prepare, implement, monitor, and evaluate a quality competency-based CTE (Career and Technical Education) Program leading to the development of student skills sufficient to qualify for entry-level employment and/or post-secondary education using effective instruction with all students.
Qualifications
Health Science Education-Registered Nurse
Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree or Diploma (3 years program)
Unrestricted License as a Registered Nurse
Related Work Experience: nursing, post-secondary nursing instruction if clinical instruction is included in the responsibilities
2 years related work experience within the past 5 years in a clinical role
Health Science Education-Non-Registered Nurse
Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree
Related Degrees: Physical Therapy, Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory, Dietetics/Nutrition, Nuclear Medicine, Physician Assistant, Physician, Athletic Training, Health Education, Respiratory Therapy, Histology, Occupational Therapy, Dentist, Dental Hygiene, Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Care, Radiology, Paramedic
Related work experience: Health Educator at health departments, schools, etc; athletic trainer; physical therapist; occupational therapist; cardiovascular technologist; medical doctor; paramedic; respiratory therapist; nuclear medicine technologist; medical technologist; radiology technologist; dietetic technician; histology technician; dental hygenist
