Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CT/XR Technologist to join our clients healthcare team in Sedona, AZ. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT (computed tomography) and X-ray imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each exam. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist looking to grow their career in a stunning location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for exams, explaining the procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process.
- Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper function and troubleshooting any issues.
- Assist with patient positioning to ensure optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and medical staff to provide the best possible care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging data is properly documented.
- Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and radiation safety guidelines.
- Provide compassionate patient care, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification in CT and X-ray through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Arizona State Radiologic Technologist license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in performing CT and X-ray procedures preferred.
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques, equipment operation, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
