Job Summary and Qualifications Supervises and manages the activities of the CT Scan Department. Operates with considerable latitude for initiative, independent judgment, planning, and actions. Maintains the Radiation Dose Optimization and the Safe Use of CT Image Gently/Image Wisely. Monitors Dose Watch program and reconciliations. A ssures all ACR, state and federal regulations are met . Acts as a liaison between t he Physicians and the Radiologists . Reviews and updates all CT protocols . Oversees CCTA, CT Stroke Alert and Interventional Radiology procedures performed in CT. Under the direction of the Medical Director, performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of computed tomography for the diagnosis of disease in humans . Under g eneral supervision, operates CT Scan equipment, positions patients to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe manner and performs related duties. HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet.
