The position supports diagnostic imaging services within a hospital-based radiology department.

    Position Overview

    The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography scans that support diagnosis and treatment planning across a variety of clinical services. This role follows established imaging protocols and works under standard departmental supervision, with a focus on accuracy, patient safety, and image quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
    • Prepare and position patients for scanning while ensuring comfort and safety
    • Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
    • Review images for clarity and completeness prior to submission for interpretation
    • Follow radiation safety standards and hospital imaging guidelines
    • Maintain accurate documentation related to imaging procedures
    • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff as needed
    • Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance checks, and workflow support within the imaging department

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences required
    • ARRT certification or registry-eligible in Computed Tomography required
    • Active New Mexico imaging license required
    • Strong understanding of basic radiologic principles and CT imaging procedures
    • Ability to work in an in-person hospital setting in a fast-paced environment
