Job Title: CT Technologist (Travel)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays

Pay Rate: $75 – $79/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform CT examinations, operate imaging equipment, and provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT).

  • Valid Massachusetts State Radiation Control License for RT and CT.

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • At least 1 year of current CT Technologist experience within the last 5 years.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans of designated anatomical areas as ordered by physicians.

  • Operate CT scanners, control consoles, peripheral hardware, and related equipment.

  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and evaluate images for technical quality.

  • Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

  • Review radiology orders and verify patient information before procedures.

  • Explain CT procedures to patients and answer questions.

  • Monitor and assist with patients’ physical and psychological needs during examinations.

  • Assist physicians and nurses with patient monitoring and treatment during procedures.

  • Assist with administration of radiographic contrast media when trained and authorized.

  • Apply radiation protection techniques, including beam restriction and patient shielding.

  • Maintain, set up, calibrate, and adjust CT equipment as required.

  • Maintain accurate radiology records and documentation.

  • Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
