Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Perform CT scans independently with precision and efficiency
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment and provide training when necessary
- Interact professionally with patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors
- Adhere to work schedules, including overtime and on-call responsibilities
Required Licenses:
- Radiologic Technologist license in Ohio
- CT Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of employment
- Valid Ohio Radiographer License
Required Skills:
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to ethical and performance standards in CT imaging
- Follow radiation safety protocols for staff and patient well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Document procedures accurately and adhere to infection control measures
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in Radiologic Technology
- Proficiency in computer operations
