    Shift: Days

    What you will do:

    • Performs daily operations of CT exams and procedures on scheduled shift including emergency callback. Operates CT equipment in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
    • Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
    • Works collaboratively with radiologists to maintain quality in every aspect of CT services.
    • Monitors supplies and equipment for usage, reordering/expiration, and reports issues as needed.
    • Collaborates with associated imaging educational programs; positively participates in clinical preceptorship for imaging sciences students. Is a positive role model for student technologists.
    • Participates in huddles and ensures key metrics are regularly supported. Supports a culture of safety, engagement, quality, and customer service.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have relevant credentials as defined below:
    • Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
    • Previous 2-year CT experience preferred.
    • CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) required
    • Maintains active registry status in ARRT or NMTCB.
    • Maintains current Iowa Permit to Practice or Illinois Radiology Technologist License
    • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
    • Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
    • Must be able to work well under pressure and on concurrent, multidisciplinary projects.
    • Must be able to provide direction to and supervision of other employees.
    • Previous leadership experience preferred.
