Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education impactful research and meaningful regional and global impact.Are you an experienced Research Analyst with a passion for using data to evaluate impact and influence practice across the higher education sectorAs Research Analyst you will play a key role in delivering high-quality quantitative research for the HEAT membership helping to shape the evaluation of widening participation activities across the UK. Working with large longitudinal datasets you will produce robust analysis develop insightful reporting and communicate complex findings in an accessible way enabling members to make evidence-based decisions and maximise the impact of their work.As Research Analyst you can expect to be involved inProducing evaluation datasets and reports using robust analytical methods to support evidence-based decision making by HEAT membersDeveloping business intelligence dashboards using tools such as Power BI to translate complex data into accessible insightsApplying advanced analytical techniques to longitudinal datasets to generate evidence on the impact of educational interventionsPresenting research findings to internal and external audiences to communicate insights and influence practice across the sector.What will you bring to the roleBABSc in a relevant degree Social Science or equivalentProven experience of designing evaluation based on large datasets to examine the impact of a social interventionExperience of building Power BI or other dashboardsExperience of data analysis software e.g. R SPSS Excel.As a member of our team you can expect a friendly open and collaborative working environment and support in your development and wellbeing.
