Cryomodule Assembly & Testing Technician, 1 Year Project at Fermilab (Batavia, IL)

Our client, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, is looking for an experienced Cryomodule Assembly & Testing Technician on a full-time basis.  

Duties of the position: 

·        Fabrication, assembly, installation and removal of a variety of electrical parts and sub-assemblies.

·        Wiring of custom control interface boxes based on schematics, drawings, & verbal/written instructions.

·        Cable assembly, layout, and termination in terminal blocks or connectors.

·        Instrumentation interface and readout.

·        Written documentation.

Requirements: 

·        Soldering experience

·        Proven ability to work from typical electrical schematics used for industrial control systems or equivalent.

·        Ability to use hand and power tools

·        Ability to work on a ladder

·        Be able to lift 15lbs.

·        Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
