The facilities serving this assignment are two small community hospitals supporting outpatient surgeries, endoscopy procedures, and short-stay inpatient care depending on patient conditions. The clinical environment maintains established perioperative workflows with on-site anesthesia support staff, including Anesthesia Technicians and CRNAs, across both locations. Clinicians must be prepared to cover both facilities as needed, with daily scheduling confirmed by surgical and anesthesia staff the day prior.

Visitors and clinicians on assignment may explore options such as snorkeling tours, dolphin cruises, wildlife safaris, and aquariums, as well as culinary tours and historical sites across cities including Miami, Orlando, Key West, and St. Augustine. The state provides year-round recreational and cultural opportunities across its varied regions.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts, with in-house call coverage required, at two small community inpatient facilities in Florida. Shift times include 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, with scheduling confirmed the day prior based on site volume. The surgical case mix includes OB spinals and epidurals, orthopedic upper and lower extremity regional blocks, general surgery, TAP blocks, bread and butter cases, and endoscopy procedures. NBCRNA Board Certification and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience are required; all clinicians must be prepared to provide coverage at both facility locations and maintain flexibility with shift times.
