    Opportunity:

    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


    Job Details:

    • Provide locum anesthesia coverage for employee leaves and vacations in a Level 1 trauma center

    • Flexible day shifts available in 8, 10, or 12-hour increments with no on-call or weekend requirements

    • Work under supervision managing adult patients and a limited pediatric population

    • Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC

    • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians

    • Provide preoperative assessments and patient education

    • Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures

    • Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia

    • Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team

    • Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR

    • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

    • Must have current NBCRNA certification and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

    • Must be fully licensed in Michigan at time of presentation with no exceptions

    • New graduate candidates will not be accepted
