Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly structured and business-oriented CRM Operations Manager to define, govern, and continuously evolve the CRM Portfolio operating model. This role acts as the operational backbone of the CRM Portfolio organization, ensuring all initiatives, investments, and capabilities are managed through consistent governance, clear prioritization, and data-driven decision-making. The CRM Operations Manager is accountable for establishing portfolio governance frameworks, demand management processes, delivery standards, and performance visibility, enabling effective alignment between business priorities and delivery capacity. Success in this role is measured by governance effectiveness, portfolio transparency, prioritization quality, and the ability to support informed investment decisions at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the CRM Portfolio governance framework.
  • Define governance processes, decision structures, and operating standards.
  • Facilitate steering committees, portfolio reviews, and leadership forums.
  • Ensure decisions align with business priorities, strategic objectives, and capacity.
  • Drive consistency across governance practices and reporting.
  • Own demand intake, pipeline management, and prioritization processes.
  • Ensure initiatives are properly assessed, categorized, and aligned to strategy.
  • Facilitate prioritization with business and CRM leadership.
  • Provide structured frameworks to support investment decisions.
  • Maintain visibility of demand, delivery commitments, and capacity constraints.
  • Define and maintain the CRM Portfolio operating model.
  • Establish standards for initiative lifecycle, coordination, and reporting.
  • Drive standardization and scalability across ways of working.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and execution.
  • Ensure alignment across CRM Portfolio, CRM IT, Business, Analytics, and AI functions.
  • Drive maturity of portfolio management and governance capabilities.
  • Identify and implement improvements across processes, reporting, and operating model.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
  • Evolve the operating model to support AI-enabled capabilities and future ways of working.
  • Support portfolio capacity planning and resource allocation visibility.
  • Track constraints, dependencies, and delivery capacity across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate vendor governance and performance monitoring where applicable.
  • Partner with CRM IT and delivery teams to align planning and execution.
  • Own portfolio reporting, performance tracking, and executive visibility.
  • Define KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive scorecards.
  • Monitor portfolio health, delivery performance, and value realization.
  • Provide actionable insights to support prioritization and strategic decisions.
  • Enable data-driven portfolio management and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, PMO, Governance, Business Operations, or Consulting roles.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong governance and operating model leader with a focus on clarity and execution
  • Highly analytical, enabling data-driven portfolio decisions
  • Able to create structure, transparency, and consistency at scale
  • Effective at facilitating executive decision-making
  • Focused on prioritization quality, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance
  • Capable of evolving governance models to support AI-driven and future-ready organizations

Preferences:

  • Proven experience designing governance frameworks, prioritization models, and operating standards.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting executive decision-making through structured insights.
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Understanding of CRM or technology-driven portfolios.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position will be remote within the United States. Minimal anticipated travel (team trainings/events).

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000. The pay range considers a wide range of factors that include a candidate's skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location.
