We are looking for: Critical Care VeterinaryTechnician
Hiring Range: $24-$29/hour based on skillset and experience. 
Never a dull moment inCritical Care!Our patients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are being executed.You should enjoy phlebotomy, placing IV catheters,assistingwith recovery and client follow up and education.
What you’ll do: 
  • Record and deliver organized rounds,discusscasesandgatheradditionalinformation as necessary
  • Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment
  • Partner withpatient care teamregardingtreatment plans, clientcommunicationand nursing care concerns
  • Provide client education including, but not limitedto:home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions)and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients
  • Assist DVM with patient assessment,treatmentand procedures
  • Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Induce andmonitorgeneral anesthesiaandsedation procedures
  • Perform in-house laboratory testingandprepare samples for outside laboratory testing
Who you are: 
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician licensepreferred
  • Prior veterinary experience,previousCritical Care, Nursing or Emergencyexperience desired
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
