Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by Medical Transport Medical Director(s). The Transport Nurse will be responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of Medical Transport and assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum

What qualifications you will need:
  • Minimum 5 years full time critical care experience in Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department or ICU
  • Maintains current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • Maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, TNCC or advance provider ITLS or PHTLS
  •  Obtain CCRN or CEN within 90 days of hire date.
  • Will obtain CFRN within 18 months of hire date. Once CFRN obtained will replace need for CCRN/CEN
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
