Job Description:
The Critical Care Technician functions as a clinical support partner in the Critical Care and Emergency Department settings. They assist the patient care team in performing various tasks and procedures for critically ill patients or patients requiring special skills or observation. They act under the direction and supervision of appropriate licensed clinical personnel.Location: Cedar City Hospital - Cedar City
Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: PRN | As needed basis Shifts: Variable, mix of days, evenings, swings, nights, weekends & holidaysPay: Starting at $18.94+ (based on patient care experience) Benefits: Not benefits eligible

The Cedar City Emergency Department is a 22-bed unit trauma center that specializes in emergency care for the surrounding community. Recently expanded to enhance access to care, and to serve the growing needs of millions of tourists at nearby recreation areas and national parks. Critical Care Tech’s work alongside the bedside nurses in caring for all patients.
Our 9 new rooms, including:
* State-of-the-art exam rooms
* Fully equipped trauma rooms
* Dedicated behavioral health rooms
* Bariatric care rooms
* A specialized decontamination space
* A centralized nurse’s station for improved coordination
