What You’ll Do
- Support ICU staff as a responding clinician in a busy teaching hospital ICU
- Collaborate with attending physicians and supervising APPs
- Perform daily rounding and patient assessments on adult patients
- Respond to critical patient needs with independence, under supervision
- Respond to bread-and-butter ICU cases, including 1-2 burn patients
- Manage patient care in a fast-paced adult ICU setting
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
- Predominantly work nights and weekends, with some daytime coverage
What You Need
Required:- Board certification in Acute Care with ICU experience
- Massachusetts license (PAs may be considered with approval)
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- DEA license
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Ability to work independently with some supervision
Preferred:- Local candidates who can stay in town
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules including weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
