What You’ll Do
  • Support ICU staff as a responding clinician in a busy teaching hospital ICU
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and supervising APPs
  • Perform daily rounding and patient assessments on adult patients
  • Respond to critical patient needs with independence, under supervision
  • Respond to bread-and-butter ICU cases, including 1-2 burn patients
  • Manage patient care in a fast-paced adult ICU setting
  • Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
  • Predominantly work nights and weekends, with some daytime coverage

What You Need
Required:
  • Board certification in Acute Care with ICU experience
  • Massachusetts license (PAs may be considered with approval)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • DEA license
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision

Preferred:
  • Local candidates who can stay in town
  • Ability to work flexible shift schedules including weekends
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills
