    OverviewLovelace Medical Group is searching for a skilled Full-time Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care at Lovelace Medical Center and the Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM.About your Work:Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 4pmJoin a team of 7 physicians and 6 APPsExpected Hospital Daily Patient Volume: 6-12Inpatient work settingProvide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations, including obtaining patient histories, ordering labs and diagnostic studies, and arranging referralsUphold excellent bedside manner and create a positive patient experienceExplain medical procedures and plans of care to patientsResponsible for inpatient care, rounding, admissions, discharges, and consultsAssess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical historiesDocument patient care services in EPICAttend departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requestedMaintain knowledge of and adhere to applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAACommunicate effectively with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient careSmart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Position RequirementsCompletion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner ProgramCurrent or ability to obtain New Mexico NP licenseSkills: Intubation, central lines and arterial linesAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & (BLS) certification Preferred Requirements: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP) certification preferredTwo (2) years of experience preferred with inpatient medicine and the ability to work independently with critical care patients.
