Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Large (500+ bed) teaching facility experience required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained. Reliable transportation is required because public transportation is not accessible in the area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended. Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April.

Unit Details: The unit involves hemodynamic devices and cares for patients post-cardiac surgery and with vascular, Level I trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and overflow MICU needs.

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers must work 2 of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. The schedule may include Monday through Sunday, with a minimum of every other weekend; it may be adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Floating Requirements: Travelers float first to units within the central ICU pool and may float outside their pod to units of like skill and ability, ED boarders, and possible surge areas.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
