Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, participating in inter-professional rounds, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, designing and implementing plans of care, and performing invasive procedures. Typical provider:patient ratio 1:6. Required Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner
Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis in the Nurse Practitioner program.
Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or recent completion/anticipated completion of accredited ACNP program
APRN licensure (or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire).
Active licensure to practice in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, and in good standing (or ability to obtain).
Certain/additional certifications or experience may be necessary based on area of specialty.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days.
Physician Assistant
Graduate of PA program.
Current PA licensure to practice in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location (or ability to obtain within three months of date of hire).
