Job Summary:

ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a critical care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. This role offers the opportunity to practice with a high level of autonomy during nights while still benefiting from strong physician support and a well-structured critical care program. Providers who value independent decision-making, a stable and supportive clinical environment, and the ability to influence patient care across the hospital will find this position especially rewarding.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Acute care certification required for NPs
  • Fulltime 
  • Night Shift, 7p-7a
  • ICU experience preferred, but strong candidates with relevant acute care backgrounds will be considered and supported
  • APP providers must be proficient and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, and management of mechanical ventilation
  • 3-5-day block scheduling
  • 2 APPs together on nights, MD on call for back up support
  • 24 bed Medical/Surgical ICU
