As a Program Supervisor, you will help to oversee our Crisis Screening program located in Cherry Hill, Camden County NJ. The Camden County designated Crisis Screening Center provides screening and stabilization services to adults and youth experiencing a psychiatric emergency 24/7, 365 days a year. Team members work to safely resolve behavioral health crisis through intervention, assessment and stabilization.

Schedule: Full-time; Flexible hours

Salary: $65,000 - $70,811.73

The potential employee must have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of wellness and recovery principals; psychotropic medications and uses; understand the need for respect and provides opportunities for self-advocacy; ability to provide supports and resources to staff to accomplish program goals and knowledge of risk reduction techniques; awareness of the limitations of developmental disabilities on social functioning; and the ability to appropriately manage aggressive behavior; Possess computer skills including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises Managers and oversees the CCT /PST
  • Supervisions-individually/group on a monthly basis
  • Track productivity
  • Monitor open shifts that need coverage for the department
  • Assist the management team with getting coverage for open shifts
  • Daily huddles
  • Assist with monitoring the outreach-tracking list
  • Assist with obtaining screening documents and judges orders getting to the court in a timely manner.
  • Lead team meeting with management team
  • Supervisor-On-Call duties
  • Be a part of an Oaks committee
  • Member of the NJ CIT committee
  • Responsible for Safety Zone reports and reviews
  • Conduct screening assessment on the unit and outreaches (community and hospital based
  • Responsible for covering managers shifts and duties when needed.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a mental health related field required with at least five (5) years experience working within the mental health system; Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience;

  • NJ Screeners Certification;

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience;

  • Knowledge and experience working with mentally ill individuals who are at high risk for psychiatric hospitalization;

  • Knowledge of case management services;

  • Knowledge of the mental health field in NJ and commitment to the principles of wellness & recovery;

  • Knowledge of the County Court System preferred;

  • Valid Drivers License in good standing required.
