Crisis Intervention Specialist - Swing and Day
Make a difference when it matters most. When people are facing their hardest moments, they need calm, skilled support-right now. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you'll play a critical behind-the-scenes role on our 24/7 Regional Crisis Line, supporting frontline phone workers and ensuring callers receive compassionate, effective care during overnight hours. This is a meaningful opportunity for experienced behavioral health professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and want their work to directly impact individuals, families, and communities.

What we're looking for
Background in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or substance use services
Ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate in high-stress situations
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
Comfort working with multiple technology systems at once
Education/experience that meets one of the following:
High School Diploma or GED + 4 years of behavioral health experience
OR a related degree with corresponding experience (Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's)
Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential through the WA Department of Health required by the end of the probationary period. Applications must be submitted within 30 days of hire. Crisis Connections will reimburse the cost of obtaining the credential.
