Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate requests to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver menu recommendations, answer questions, and ensure guests feel informed and cared for.
- Monitor tables throughout service to anticipate needs and resolve concerns professionally.
- Process payments accurately and handle transactions in accordance with restaurant procedures.
- Coordinate with hosts, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to support timely and efficient service.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
- Support opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing quality guest service.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weight during a shift.
